Still recouping.....

from the Vintage Holiday Boutique. We got back home yesterday afternoon
just in time for a short winters nap.

It was a great show, lots of people and all the vendors are a very sweet, talented group of women. Lots of smiles and quite a bit of laughing and joking going on. Here are some pictures of my table. After this show I realized I need to start spending more time on my displays, some of the booths at this show where works of art (go by and visit Cathe's blog for more pictures) I wish that I had taken pictures, if it weren't for Jenn (my daughter and business partner) taking this pictures of our booth I wouldn't have any. Thank you Jenn for all your help and moral support, I couldn't do it without you. Also to Lee and Annette (my son and daughter-in-law) for taking such good care of us this weekend, they gave up their bedroom and kept us very well fed. Thanks again everyone!!!

Now I'm off to make more for the next show... Talk to you soon

Stockings

Here are some better pictures of the Christmas stockngs that I have been working on.
The stockings are 18 inches toe to cuff and 6 inches wide. Just big enough to hold all those goodies that Santa leaves all the good little boys and girls.

busy, busy, busy.........

I only look huge.
Really I'm 1-1/4 inchs by 2 inches including all decorations.
I'm made of felt, beads, embroidery thread, stuffing and the top to a
Coke bottle.

I'm up to my elbows in pincushions. I think they're so darn cute.

Take care

History will be made today.....

Getting ready

BOO!!
Well I'm sure most people are enjoying the colors of the season: oranges, golds, browns, burgundy and eggplant. I on the other hand am thinking reds, greens and all shades of white. I am definitely into the holiday spirit, the Christmas spirit that is. I have been knitting stockings for the show and thought I would share some pics. All the stockings are about 14 inches long.
Here on some pictures of the goodies I sent for the Halloween swap I was in:

A kitty mask, everyone needs one of those, a BOO sign all glittered up and

I made an apron out of cute Halloween fabric.
