Getting ready

BOO!!

Well I'm sure most people are enjoying the colors of the season: oranges, golds, browns, burgundy and eggplant. I on the other hand am thinking reds, greens and all shades of white. I am definitely into the holiday spirit, the Christmas spirit that is. I have been knitting stockings for the show and thought I would share some pics. All the stockings are about 14 inches long.

Here on some pictures of the goodies I sent for the Halloween swap I was in:

A kitty mask, everyone needs one of those, a BOO sign all glittered up and

I made an apron out of cute Halloween fabric.

So what did you do today?

This is what we did.

We made haunted gingerbread houses.

Boy do I have such an appreciation for those talented decorators that turn out those elaborately decorated houses. While I on the other hand was just glad to keep the walls stuck together and the candy from sliding down the face of the house. We were lucky, our houses came in a kit so the walls were already baked all we had to do was "glue" everything together and decorate.

But if you are 8 and have a gross love of candy. This is the best way to spend an afternoon.
