New Project

Look what I'm making! I love this pattern. I have never knitted in intarsia and if you could see the mess I am making you would die laughing. I have yarn everywhere. I tried those little butterfly thingees and they got so tangled it took me an hour just to straighten them out. Also they recommended circular needles, what where they thinking, heck I didn't know if I was coming or going. Now I'm using straight needles. Much better. Also, I am just letting the yarn hang free and it seem to be working better for me. If anyone has any tips PLEASE let me know. Other then that I am loving how it is turning out. LOL. I let you know how this turns out if I don't go crazy first.

No tips - I am not brave enough to try something that involved!
Just a quick thank you for organizing the Secret Santa Swap! It was lots of fun and I got the most beautiful package from Nancy! Everyone loves my scarf!

Great work as always. Just took a class from Brandon Mably (Kaffe Fasset Studio) and their method for intarsia/fair isle is to have pieces no longer than about 36 inches dangling and just add on as you need more. For some reason, the yarns don't get hopelessly tangled even when you are carrying many colors. It is great!
